You can deploy them easily with the folding spring, allowing you to raise or lower them in tense situations or if you simply want to practice without the use of an illuminated optic. Troy Industries even included a stainless steel cross-locking system to ensure the iron sights remain zeroed and upright even if you are hiking through rough terrain or accidentally knock the weapon against a hard surface. Plus, at a 45 degree offset, they don't interfere with a red dot sight or rifle scope.

Note: These sights are designed to work on same-plane rail system only. Will not work with a railed gas block that is higher or lower than the receiver.
