The Peltor Alert Tactical Hearing Protector & AM/FM Stereo M2RX7A is an all-in-one device that combines an AM/FM Radio with  a Hearing Protector. The Alert Tactical Hearing Protector by Peltor allows the user to listen to their favorite radio programming while also providing adequate protection against hazardous noise. These Peltor Hearing Protectors feature a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 25 decibels (dB) for a comfortable sound level. Adding to the NRR is the Hearing Protector 's electronics that limit amplified sounds to 82 decibels. For communication, the Peltor Alert Hearing Protector features an external audio jack that accepts 2-way radios and scanners. These Peltor Tactical Hearing Protectors also have Stereo Microphones that provide the user with Omni-Directional Ambient Listening. The AM/FM Radio can be controlled with separate volume and tuning controls, and provides 250+ hours of music on 2 AA Batteries. Lastly, the Peltor Tactical Alert Hearing Protector features a comfortable design with its liquid/gel filled ear cups and padded stainless steel headband. These features make the Peltor Alert Tactical Hearing Protector & AM/FM Stereo M2RX7A the perfect choice for a wide variety of applications including racing, sporting events, manufacturing, and landscaping.
