Payment
Night-Optics.com accepts Visa™, MasterCard™,
Discover™, and The American Express Card™, PayPal, Purchase Orders, certified checks
and money orders. Credit Card payments need to be submitted immediately once the order is ready to ship. We only charge for the products that are ready to be shipped. If
you would like to pay by a personal check or money order, you must first complete and then send
our order
form (
PDF) along with your payment. All Personal checks and business checks
must clear before shipment. Night-Optics will accept (but does not require) Purchase Orders (PO's) from all Fortune 1000 companies,
universities and educational institutions, and government agencies. In order to pay with PayPal simply select the "Pay using PayPal" option below the "Pay using Credit Card" option at checkout. Please note that your shipping address must be confirmed with PayPal. At this time we do not accept
COD payments.
For all international orders we prefer Bank wire transfer. When you choose wire transfer
as your payment method, your bank will automatically charge you a processing fee for the wire.
Please note that our bank charges us an additional $45 bank service fee for this payment type, therefore $45 USD should be added to the total. Please
add all the wire transfer fees to the cost of your order. Failure to calculate these
fees could delay the processing time of your order. American Express Credit Cards are also an acceptable and preferred method for international orders over $200. Provided the package is shipped to the billing address on the credit card statement. This is because we are able to verify these accounts in most areas of the world.

Sales Tax
Sales Tax is NOT charged to your order UNLESS your order is shipped to an Illinois address.
Illinois State laws require that we charge a sales tax on the full amount of the
order including shipping if shipped within IL. Because we are located in Northbrook, IL (Cook County), all shipments to Illinois addresses are charged
at the rate of 9.75%. No sales tax will be charged when buying gift certificates; however, purchases
paid for with gift certificates will be charged sales tax if shipped to
addresses within the state of Illinois.

Order Verification and Advisories
You will receive email verifications at each stage of the order process i.e.

- Advice of delay and estimated delivery time for special or out-of-stock
items (most of our products are in stock and ship next business day!);
- Feedback request after you have received your purchase.
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify
our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to
sell. Night-Optics.com reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason at any time after the receipt of your order. All orders placed by credit card
are subject to address verification by our credit and fraud avoidance department,
and this may delay the processing of your order. We may notify you that we are unable
to ship to your P.O. Box and/or must ship to your credit card billing address. This
is all done to protect you. We cannot be held responsible if your order is delayed
for any of these or other reasons. If you have any questions about your order, we

When an order needs to be shipped to an address other then the the billing address or when an international credit card is used, we need to obtain
your authorization. If you want us to ship your order to an address different from

International Orders
OpticsPlanet has thousands of satisfied customers from around the world. We specialize in shipping internationally and endeavor to make the process as simple as possible for our customers.
Shipping: We ship most of our products worldwide (see our shipping and export restriction polices for more details on the exceptions). Shipping charges are automatically calculated during checkout when you enter your address. For shipments outside of the US, shipping charges cannot be $0 in the cart if you select a valid shipping method for your country (see details on intl. shipping here). Please ingore the "Freight" option, it is not a free shipping option as it is used for price quotes on large volume orders.
Fees, Taxes, and Restrictions: Please keep in mind that your government or another entity in your country may impose a charge for custom and/or brokerage fees, duties and taxes on items received from the US. These charges do not originate from our company nor do we benefit from them in any way. You are responsible for payment of all custom and brokerage fees, duties and taxes that may be imposed when these goods are imported into your country. Since these fees will vary from country to country, we do not know what your fees will be and advise you to contact your local government customs agent to determine the rate for the products you would like to purchase. For our Canadian customers, please see UPS Rates for Customs Clearance into Canada. It is often less expensive to select one of the USPS Express or USPS Global Priority shipping methods that we provide to reduce the brokerage fees. To avoid a delay in receiving your product from customs, be sure that you provide us with a phone number where you can be reached when your product arrives.

Order Verification: The security of our customers’ information is important to us. We reserve the right to verify all order details prior to order processing. This includes the use of third party data resources as well as our own internal security, information and verification procedures.
Pricing: All prices on our site are in US dollars. If you are a non-US customer, your credit card company will normally convert your order total from US dollars to your local currency. We do not have control over the exchange rate, but you can get an idea of what it might be by checking this site http://www.xe.com.
Returns: OpticsPlanet accepts requests for international exchanges. Requests must be received by OpticsPlanet.com within 10 days of receipt of the product. However, at this time, we are unable to accept returns internationally. Please see our full Return Policy for complete details on returns and exchanges for international orders.

Cost
Most of our in-stock orders ship within 1-2 business days. Unless otherwise specified,
we ship via UPS Ground FREE of charge on orders over $29.95 anywhere in the Continental United States (shipping to AK, AS, CZ, GU, HI, MP, PR, RI, VI is extra). Express shipping options via UPS and USPS are also available. Orders to APO/FPO/AAO/AEO
addresses are shipped via USPS, free of charge. See more details on shipping

USPS Options - We have added new USPS shipping options for your convenience. Appropriate
shipping charges apply to all USPS Domestic Shipping Options
(USPS Priority and USPS Express) as well as to USPS International Shipping Options
(USPS Global Priority and USPS Global Express). USPS service is FREE ONLY for
the orders going to AP, AE, AA, and FP military addresses.
Usually, we don't charge your credit card until we ship your order from our
warehouse.

Express and International – We ship worldwide only to those countries where
UPS and USPS services is available. All
Shipping charges will be calculated during checkout.
Out of stock items - We will verify out-of-stock or special orders immediately
on receipt and send an email advisory with estimated shipping date. Normally
all products shown on our site are in stock unless noted otherwise and ship from our IL warehouse.
Partial Shipments – You will be notified by email if an order cannot be
shipped in its entirety. With your permission, we will ship the available items during the time being.
Cancellation Policy If you call or email us and want to cancel the current order
before it has been shipped, we will gladly cancel it free of charge. If the order has
already shipped your items and charged your card, the circumstances surrounding
the order may impact our enforcement of the restocking policy.
Night Optics does not ship on Saturday or Sunday.

Damage - All shipped items are insured. Inspect
your order when it arrives. It is unlikely that anything might be damaged as
we pack our orders well, but we do not want you to risk. Do NOT sign for a damaged
parcel without a full inspection of the contents. If you receive a damaged item,
notify your local UPS terminal within 24 hrs. or
contact us for instructions.

Return Policy
"No Worries" Easy Return & Exchange Policy - 100% Satisfaction - No Restocking fees!
Your satisfaction is our top priority. We guarantee the quality of our products and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to exchange the item for you to better meet your needs and tastes. Please note that all returns require an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, which can be easily obtained online.
You can return the purchased items within 30 days of receipt for an exchange or full refund (less shipping charges) subject to Return Conditions. Items must be returned in NEW (unopened, unused, untested, and resalable) condition, in the original manufacturer packaging, with all the original contents included. There is no restocking fee for returns of items meeting the above mentioned conditions providing they are returned within 30 days of receipt and they do not fall into Return Policy Exceptions category. Please be advised that we do reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 15% under certain circumstances.
For your protection, items must be returned shipping prepaid, insured for the full value, and safely wrapped to prevent shipping damage. All charges related to the return of items to Night-Optics.com are the responsibility of the customer.
If your order was damaged in transit, we will be glad to offer you a replacement or a refund in the form of the original payment method. Please note that, in case of shipping damage, an insurance claim has to be finalized by the carrier before we are able to issue compensation or product replacement. We recommend you to inspect the merchandise immediately upon delivery before the carrier leaves. If you detect visible physical damage or missing items, refuse the package. If you accepted the package, contact us immediately within 3 business days if damage has been detected.
Items with manufacturing defects must be sent directly to the specific manufacturer in accordance with the Warranty terms.
